This project optimizes the packaging of a household medical thermometer to reduce environmental impact while driving down corporate manufacturing and logistics costs. Through a comprehensive audit of traditional, oversized medical packaging, I eliminated excess structural volume that previously inflated shipping overhead. The streamlined, zero-plastic housing utilizes a minimalist, single-color print process on raw, uncoated cardboard, making the final product entirely recyclable. This reduced physical footprint maintains standard retail hanging functionality while maximizing shipping pallet density and cutting material waste.
